Gog Magog Golf Club

Visitors Introduction

COURSES

The Club boasts two outstanding 18 hole courses to choose from, roaming over 380 acres of free-draining chalk downland hills. The porous sub-soil means play takes place all year round as the courses do not suffer from water logging.

  • The Old Course has been on the Gog Magog Hills since 1901.
  • The Wandlebury Course, opened in 1997, has been designed to test the modern golfer.

Both courses have panoramic views across the local countryside, giving a lovely spacious feel to your day out.

What they say

“We would just like to commend your Club on the welcome we received, the condition of your course, and the hospitality bestowed on us by all your members of staff (they are a credit to your Club).”

“Thank you for a very pleasurable afternoon's golf, the refreshments and the value-for-money food menu, which we all enjoyed.”

“We can't wait to return... truly a prestigious golf club.”

LOCATION

The Club sits on the Gog Magog Hills just south east of Cambridge, within easy reach of the M11 and the A14.

Food & Beverage

John, our House Manager and his team will serve you your drinks and prepare a wide range of breakfasts, snacks and meals for you to enjoy during your visit to our Club.

Practice Facilities

The practice ground includes a covered area for the use of range balls, as well as a large area where you can use your own balls.  In addition there is a green with chipping and bunker facilities. Both courses have their own practice putting greens which mirror their respective playing conditions.
